Sauber Motorsport AG, Hinwil

Das Alfa Romeo Sauber Team ist Teil der Formel 1 Motorsport Rennen auf der ganzen Welt. In seinem Werk in Hinwil entwickelt und baut das Team die Rennboliden. In der mechanischen Fertigung werden mit Portalfräsmaschinen Formen hergestellt. Dazu werden Kunststoffe und Kohlefaserstoffe verwendet, deren Stäube explosiv sind und der Staubklasse KST 1 angehören.

Mit Stichleitungen werden die an den Werkzeugmaschinen entstehenden Stäube und Partikel erfasst. Im Zyklon-Vorabscheider werden die groben Partikel ausgeschieden und danach der Feinstaub im Filter vom Luftstrom getrennt. Der Zyklon und die Filtereinheit sind mit Explosionsunterdrückungsanlagen geschützt. Ein Nachgeschalteter Kontrollfilter stellt sicher, dass ein Filterbruch zuverlässig erkannt wird. Ein Rückströmen der Flammen- und Druckwelle im Ereignisfall wird durch Rückschlagsicherheitsventile verhindert.
